The SRTC is our largest and most rugged rolling plastic tool case with 1157 square inches of layout space. It has four drawers designed to hold optional silhouetted foam tool pallets for tool control. The C.H. Ellis SRTC4TW is one of two tool cases accepted to house the U.S. Army General Mechanics Tool Kit (GMTK) compliment of tools. This plastic tool case is made of two separate walls of polyethylene separated by formed foam. When you open the top lid by releasing the steel hasp, the front drawer drops down for access to 3 drawers that are 20.50”x11.50”x2.00” and one drawer that is 20.50”x11.50”x3.00”. The top has a storage compartment that is 20.50”x10.75”x3.30” and has a metal security box. The drawers are made of polycarbonate for long life and have brakes so they don’t pull completely out of the aluminum frame. A positive tilt action is required to remove the drawers completely. Two handles are built-in on the sides for easy lifting. Tilt the case back on its two wheels by holding the 37.00” telescoping handle, and the case rolls easily. For replacement drawers, order 15-0516 for the 2.00" drawers and 15-0517 fpr tje 3.00" bottom drawer. The wheels are field replaceable. The wheel replacement kit is part number 09-7351.
