The 8800 series plastic tool case is one of our newest rotationally molded tool cases. Rotational molded plastic tool cases are more rugged than vacuum formed cases, particularly in the corners where there is more build-up of polyethylene plastic. The 8800 series plastic cases are large enough to hold any tools for field repair work with extra room for drills, spare parts boxes and accessories. The 8800 plastic tool cases feature vertical ribbing for added strength, a rugged aluminum frame, two latches, long-life positive action lid stays, molded-in feet, a full piano hinge, and a high impact padded handle. That case has two quarter-turn butterfly latches and padlock rings that accept an optional padlock, such as our TSA safety lock, part number 61-6147 on our Accessories page.
